Super effort on Saturday morning from the small ladies! Great skills on show & great to see the confidence growing! Well done girls!

U12 Boys Div 4
Askeaton/Kilcornan B 0-1 GB Rovers B
Extremely unlucky not to come away with at least a point on the day, maybe more, we were the better team just couldn’t find the net.
Team: Dylan Rodriguez, Connor Sheehan, Niall Sheehy, Jake Gallagher, Darragh Moran, Bradley Kelly, Kayden Delahunty, Samantha Maune, Donnagh Guilfoyle, Jamie Purcell.

U13 Boys Div 2
Askeaton/Kilcornan 3-2 Breska Rovers B
U13 boys registered a 3-2 win against Breska. A great performance and a well deserved win. Goals from Luke, Tom and Rian brought home all 3 points after a great team performance. Well done all as we climb to a lofty 4th place in the table, onwards and upwards.

U15 Boys Cup Preliminary Round 2
Askeaton/Kilcornan 1-0 Feenagh
Danny Murphy

U16 Girls Div 1
Askeaton/Kilcornan 0-3 Kilcolman Rovers
Wasn’t to be, we really didn’t get going, not for the want of trying though. Whichever team got the first goal were going to win it. Kilcolmans first goal lifted them and kind of drained us. Our defence really played well finding themselves under pressure for lots of the game.
Team: Xixi Prendeville, Marie McKnight, Siofra Gallagher, Kerry Moane, Kate Moran, Aoibheann O’ Donoghue, Caoimhe Gammell, Lily Prendeville, Mercy Oladakpu, Lucy O’ Flaherty, Aine Moran, Lily Bishop, Ruby Maune Lilly Shanahan.

Youths Division 1 Semi Final 2nd Leg
Abbeyfeale Utd 4-4 Askeaton/Kilcornan AFC (Agg. 5-10)
Zach Birdthistle (3)

We traveled back to Abbeyfeale going into the game 6-1 up from our previous leg before Christmas. Abbey were first to find the net and it was the start of a goal fest with 8 goals between us, all scored from open play.
This result now secures our place in the League final against the winners of Dromore or Broadford Utd.
Team: Matthew Keaveney, Aron Kelly, Pat Hehir, Conor McNamara, Mark Doolan, Thomas McCarthy, Conor Conway, Sean Downes, Tyrique Harte, Zach Birdthistle, Stephen Maune, Sambulo Ngubane, Christopher Sheehy, John Connors, Jack Doran.
