Monday 7th April
U12 Boys Div 2
Kilcolman Rvs 5-3 Askeaton/Kilcornan
A tough one for the boys on Monday evening away to Kilcolman. We were severely punished for a slow start and found ourselves 5-0 down after 20 minutes. Full credit to the team though for battling back to 5-2 at half-time through goals from Harry Biggane and Josh O’ Donoghue. We kept up the same level of effort again in the second half where Josh added his second and was unlucky not to claim his hat trick late on, but the comeback wasn’t to be and we finished with a 5-3 defeat.

U10 Girls Single
Askeaton/Kilcornan v Ballingarry
U10 girls saved their best performance till last for their final game of the season against a very strong Ballingarry team. Two competitive games were played with some great individual performances from both teams. A great bunch of girls and they encourage each other each week which is great to see.

U12 Boys Div 2
Askeaton/Kilcornan A 2-0 St Itas AFC
Harry Biggane
Kayden Delahunty
Great performance from the 12As on Saturday in a hard-earned 2-0 home win against a St. Ita’s team sitting second in the table. Our team were at it from the start, and never let up. A cool penalty from Harry Bigane and a clinical finish from Kayden Delahunty made the difference in the second half on the scoreboard, but every player put in a strong effort to earn the win. Special mentions to Sorcha, Danielle, Rachael, Ruairi and Odhran for agreeing to help us out on the day, their contributions were key and we couldn’t have done it without them.
