U12 girls had a great win at home against a very strong Broadford team.
Goals from Cailin Purtill, Mia O Shaughnessy and Laura O’ Driscoll made full time score 3-2.

We hosted top of the table leaders Dromore Utd on Saturday afternoon. We played well for the first fifteen minutes, Dromore got their first goal and unfortunately dominated the rest of the half going up 3-0 at the break. Much the same in the second half, we always gave it a hundred percent but at times we didn’t get in to them and let them play. We had a good spell ten minutes to go but overall a good team beat us so all we can do is be ready for the next match and I know our girls will bounce back.

Congratulates to Conor McNamara, Finn O’Gorman, Seán Downes and Zach Birdthistle who were selected for the Limerick Desmond Youths Inter League team.
Congratulations also to Laura O’ Driscoll who made her debut for the U12 girls Desmond League team on Sunday afternoon, in a 2-1 win over Waterford.

ASKEATON KILCORNAN AFC 50/50 SPLIT THE POT!!
Our Split the Pot draw was held Tuesday, October 16th in Askeaton clubhouse. The winner of €120 was Donie Ahern.
Split the Pot is our weekly fundraiser for Askeaton Kilcornan AFC. You can enter by writing your name and contact number on the envelope and place your €2 into the envelope. The envelope should be placed into one of the buckets located in SuperValu, Centra, Top of the Town Bar, Cagney’s Bar, Shanahan’s Shop, Boss Barbers, Brian Collins Bookmakers, Moran’s Hardware, Askeaton Soccer Pitch and Kilcornan Community Hall. You can also enter online at www.askeatonkilcornanafc.ie The draw is held every Tuesday evening. Half of the money entered into the draw is given in prize money and the other half goes towards funding activities for our club.
