U15 Boys Div 2
Shannonside 0-5 Askeaton/Kilcornan
Great start for our U15 team with a fantastic win away to Shannonside. A great team performance with the highlight being the performance of Darragh O’Shaughnessy who scored some great goals. Other scorers on the day were Paddy Harty, Rory Moran and Hugh Sheehy. Great to see three U14s, Hugh Sheehy, Frank Murphy and Dylan Sheehan stepping up to U15s and all playing well.

U16 Girls Div 2
Askeaton/Kilcornan 0-4 Shannonside
A gallant effort from our U16s girls on Saturday morning. On the team sheet we only had two U16s, five U15s, four U14s and three U13s. It was a brave effort and our girls showed commitment in their play all through the game. We took some great positives, getting to know each other from such a big age gap. Well done all, looking forward to the season ahead.

ASKEATON KILCORNAN AFC 50/50 SPLIT THE POT!!
Our Split the Pot draw was held Tuesday, August 20th in Askeaton clubhouse. The winner of €120 was Maurice Carrig.
Split the Pot is our weekly fundraiser for Askeaton Kilcornan AFC. You can enter by writing your name and contact number on the envelope and place your €2 into the envelope. The envelope should be placed into one of the buckets located in SuperValu, Centra, Top of the Town Bar, Cagney’s Bar, Shanahan’s Shop, Boss Barbers, Brian Collins Bookmakers, Moran’s Hardware, Askeaton Soccer Pitch and Kilcornan Community Hall. You can also enter online at www.askeatonkilcornanafc.ie The draw is held every Tuesday evening. Half of the money entered into the draw is given in prize money and the other half goes towards funding activities for our club. We thank you all for your continued support of this fundraising initiative, it is very much appreciated.
