Thursday 23rd May

U16 Boys Div 2
Feenagh 2-3 Askeaton/Kilcornan
Leon Morton
Shane Ryan
Gavin Rushe
Feenagh went 1 up midway through the first half and led 1-0 at HT.
We levelled on the hour mark with a great strike from Leon Morton.
Feenagh went ahead again on 65 minutes, but we equalised through a cooly taken penalty from Shane Ryan on 70 minutes. With time running out, on the 78 minute a great move was eventually laid off to Gavin Rushe who scored a cracking goal from outside the box to seal the win that puts us joint top of the table, well done to all players.

Saturday 25th May

U12 Boys Div 2
Ballingarry 6-1 Askeaton/Kilcornan
Our final league game of the season didn’t go as we would have liked. We made a strong start and the game was scoreless at halftime but Ballingarry capitalised on mistakes we made in the second half and punished us. Before this game we were guaranteed second position in the league and that gives us a home advantage on Monday night against the same Ballingarry side, hopefully all our mistakes were made in that game and are out of the way and hopefully a big home support can help us win the shield final.
