Great result from the lads on Tuesday night in Mick Hanley Park. A goal from Kenneth put us in the lead at the break. Dromore got an equaliser in the second half from the spot but Kenneth secured our place in this years final when he scored his second goal in added time. All round great team performance

U12 Girls Div 1
Askeaton/Kilcornan 0-0 Ballingarry
Another super performance from the girls drawing 0-0 with a very good Ballingarry team. The effort and work rate the girls put in on the pitch today was fantastic to see. They were very unlucky not to come away with the win. Unbeaten in the league so far this season. Keep it going girls.

Sunday 5th November

U15 Boys National Cup 3rd Round
Bunratty Cratloe FC 4-3 Askeaton/Kilcornan AFC
Samual Costello (2)
Cillian Murphy
Our boys played Bunratty/Cratloe away on Sunday in a hard fought encounter between two skilful teams, unfortunately we came out on the losing end 4-3. We went in 1-0 down at half time against the run of play but soon into the second we equalised with a superb goal from Samuel Costello, followed shortly by a goal from Cillian Murphy and we were in the driving seat for a while. Then the weather changed and we let them back into it with two goals in succession. We regrouped and pulled one back near the end with Samuel hitting the net from a beautiful swinging free kick from Darragh O Shaughnessy.
There was some beautiful football on display, a great team performance and it’s a credit to the lads, onwards and upwards. Well done boys

FAI U-17s Cup 2nd Round
Tulla Utd 1-2 Askeaton/Kilcornan AFC
Deren Aksoy
Seanie Downes
We played a very good Tulla side on Sunday, we fought hard to keep them out, we scored first mid way in the first half by a lovely ball played through from Seanie and cut back across the box from Zack for a tap in from Deren. We battled hard to keep the lead from constant pressure and attacks from Tulla.
Halftime 0-1.
Tulla pulled one back 15 minutes into the second half with a long range effort, Seanie put us back in the lead 5 minutes later with a rebounded shot off a free kick and planted it into the top corner 1-2. We fought hard and battled as a team to see it out.
Full time 1-2
