U12 Boys National Trophy 1st Round
Askeaton/Kilcornan v Newmarket Celtic W/O to Askeaton/Kilcornan

U12 Boys Division 4
Askeaton/Kilcornan B 0-1 Broadford Utd B Broadford scored the only goal of the game at the very last minute. Very even match and great to watch. We build from this and each of our players should be so proud of their performance against a strong side.

U14 Girls Division 2
Askeaton/Kilcornan 0-3 Ballingarry B
Having been down 2-0 at halftime to a very strong Ballingarry team, our girls rallied tremendously in the 2nd half and took the game to Ballingarry but just couldn’t get the vital goal to get them back into the match. Towards the end, Ballingarry broke away to score a very contentious third goal. The final scoreline of 3-0 didn’t do justice to our girls who overall played very well.

Sunday 15th October
FAI Junior Cup 2nd Round
Askeaton/Kilcornan AFC 6-2 Dromore Utd
(HT 4-0)
Kenneth O’ Donoghue (2)
Matt Moane

Sam Duggan
4-0 at half time after goals from Matt Moane, Ken O’Donoghue x2 and Patrick Ivess.
Dromore pulled one back 10 minutes into 2nd half but Sean Whelan replied 5 minutes later. A penalty 15 minutes from time reduced the deficit again but a well taken goal from Sam Duggan wrapped up the win.
