Tuesday 3rd May
U/14 Boys League
Kildimo 8-3 Askeaton
Probably the best U/14 side in the Desmond league had a comfortable win at home to the Askeaton boys who were punished for every mistake they made. Kildimo raced into a two goal lead after 4 minutes. Shane reduced the deficit when he chipped the keeper midway through the first half but the home side scored two more before the break. Ht 4-1
Brooklyn Delahunty made it 4-2 and gave the visitors hope but 2 more goals in quick succession finished the game. Jamie Sheahan got Askeaton’s 3rd goal of the night with a great bicycle kick but Kildimo poured more misery on us. We hit the post twice and the crossbar once in the second half but unfortunately silly mistakes in the opening 35 minutes finished this game as a contest

Saturday 7th May
U/10 Girls
Pallaskenry v Askeaton
A great game on a sunny Saturday morning. We only had 7 players but they all performed brilliantly. Pallas scored the first and the last goal of the game. In between, Rachel Harty-Maune scored 5 goals for us.

U/14 Girls
Askeaton 0-5 Kilcolman Rovers

Sunday 8th May
Weekly Observer Division Two
Askeaton 0-2 Glantine
Glantine’s first goal came early in the game from a deflected shot wrong footing our keeper, shortly after a long ranged shot looped over our keeper and into our net. We had a lot of chances but couldn’t find the net, couldn’t fault the lads for there effort.
